Dance City and Spirit of Kansas are programs offered by Lawrence Gymnastics Academy.
Dance City embraces the belief that dance is a performing art with a legacy of grace, discipline, beauty, and creativity.
Spirit of Kansas embraces the belief that cheerleading and tumbling provide an athletic advantage to its athletes. The overall strength and power (physically and mentally) an athlete obtains from tumbling and cheerleading will carry into many other aspects of life.
It is a noble mission to honor and enhance these art forms by creating progressive and structured programs that will be beneficial to all students at all levels.
Our Goal
To provide each student with a positive experience by helping them develop the skills and technique needed to advance. We will accomplish this by using proven methods in teaching that provide maximum results.
We strive to help each student gain self-esteem and confidence through their accomplishments. Through our structured classes, it is our goal that each child will gain good moral habits and learn self-discipline.
To share with our students our love of the wonderful art of dance, cheer and tumbling in hopes it will provide a continual source of enrichment throughout their lives.
