Competitive Danz

Dance City Performing Arts Academy embraces the belief that dance is a performing art with a legacy of grace, discipline, beauty, and creativity. It is a noble mission to honor and enhance this art form by creating a progressive, structured dance program, one that will be beneficial to all students at all levels. The Dance City Danz Troupe was created in 1998 to foster the competitive spirit of our students who enjoy the excitement of performing under the bright lights and big sound of the competition venues. Our competitive dance program offers a disciplined and complete program in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, technique conditioning and theory. For our younger danz troupe members, we also include tumbling to increase flexibility and strengthen muscles. These training methods have been found to be very beneficial in enhancing and accelerating their dance training. We are committed to providing an in-depth dance curriculum that allows each student to reach their fullest potential.

To provide each student with a positive experience by helping them develop the skills and technique needed to advance. We will accomplish this by using proven methods in teaching that provide maximum results. We also strive to help each student gain self-esteem and confidence through their accomplishments in our program. By offering a structured class environment, we will guide each child as they develop good habits and learn self-discipline.  By sharing our love of the art of dance we hope it will provide a continual source of enrichment throughout their lives.
